Lone Sorensen received her education from 1978 until 1985 in Reflexology, Acupuncture and Laser Therapy in Denmark. She developed Facial Reflexology over 26 years of intensive research in Denmark and South America with over 12,000 clients. She moved to Argentina in 1985 and founded the first three schools of Reflexology. Today the International Foot and Facial Reflexology Institute, is located in Barcelona Spain which is an institution that has been educating students for 27 years. The International Foot and Facial Reflexology Institute offers the most advanced therapies in the world in reflexology, thanks to the intense studies of its founder. The Institute collaborates with centers in fifteen countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Japan, England, Netherlands, Poland, Argentina, Australia, Mexico, France, Chile, Germany, Cuba and Spain), working with private and public institutions for patients with brain damage and training therapists.

Lone has studied in Chile, Cuba, France and Germany. She has attended many conventions and is a international speaker and educator.Professor Sorensen’s International Foot and Facial Reflexology Institute also teaches and applies the Temprana therapy in an exclusive and innovative way.

In March 2001, Lone Sorensen was awarded by the O.M.H.S with three Nobility prizes, becoming the first Reflexologist in the world to optain such mention, for her work in Zone therapy, foot, hand, and Facial Reflexology.
Temprana therapy is especially oriented to children with special needs, learning difficulties, brain damage, syndromes and autism.
